Inside your temperomandibular joint - Your jaw bone connects to your skull at the TMJ. There is small fibrous disc much like the discs in your spine that provides cushion and a surface for the jaw bone to glide over. When this joint becomes subluxated (displaced) even slightly, the condyle (point) of the jaw "clicks" as it slips on and off this disc. Your Chiropractor can adjust this joint, re-align the joint, and get rid of your clicking and discomfort. This stuff really works folks, now go tell your friends!
Dr. Dennis Barker DC is a Chiropractor in the Community of Fletcher Hills serving the cities of El Cajon, La Mesa, Santee and all of San Diego County.
